アメリカ、ボストンカレッジのMarc SnapperらによるRu触媒を用いた閉環メタセシス/ヘテロPauson-Khand反応。閉環メタセシス反応の後、塩基と一酸化炭素を作用させることでRu触媒がDiver型触媒となることでヘテロPauson-Khand反応が進行。村井らの報告に基づき、カルボニル基にキレーターとなるピリジン環を配置。
